FICKSBURG, GAUTENG – Sports, Arts and Culture Minister, Gayton Mckenzie says Heritage Day is aimed at celebrating the heroes and heroines who fought for the freedom of South Africa. 
He says that one of the things that needs to be prioritised is fixing the country’s heritage sites.
